Carlos Torres serves as Gateway First Bank's Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, he oversees the Bank's Compliance Operations, the Compliance Risk team, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) group, and the Fair Lending management programs.
Carlos has been with Gateway since 2017 as a member of the Compliance Department team. With over 25 years in the financial services industry, Carlos has experience in a variety of roles, beginning as a Loss Mitigation Specialist in 1997 with Midland Mortgage and progressing to Loan Analyst, Loan Administration Manager, Federal Contract Management, and Quality Control.
Carlos attended the University of Oklahoma, majoring in mathematics and science. Carlos has been involved in the Tulsa community since 2003, spending several years as a volunteer coach and Sunday School teacher and serving terms on church leadership boards.
