Tonkawa, Okla., April 5, 2024—In support of the annual Tonkawa Film Festival, Gateway First Bank will display film-themed quilts crafted by local residents. The festival, hosted by the Tonkawa Chamber of Commerce, showcases short independent films from April 15 to 19.

The Gateway Banking Center invites the community to display quilts made with a film theme. Themes can range from action to children’s movies to comedy and even generic film-themed quilts that just honor the film industry in general. Quilts do not have to be brand new. Table Runners, Wall Hangings, Baby Quilts, and large Quilts are all welcome. Please bring your quilt with the entry form below to the Gateway First Bank Tonkawa banking center, 111 E Grand, on Friday, April 12, between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. We ask that the quilts be picked up on Monday, April 22, between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm.

Guests viewing the quilts will be invited to place their vote for “People’s Choice.” The winner will receive a $50 gift card, with second place receiving $25 and third place $10. There is no fee to display your quilt and be entered into the competition.
