TULSA, Okla., March 19, 2014 – Gateway Mortgage Group, a privately held mortgage company offering originations, servicing and correspondent lending, announced the addition of James “Jace” Cowan as regional sales manager. Cowan will be responsible for the company’s correspondent lending expansion into the Midwest.

Cowan has been in the mortgage industry for 10 years, with a focus on correspondent lending since 2007. Prior to joining Gateway, he was the correspondent account manager for US Bank Home Mortgage, where he successfully managed 28 accounts across a multi-state territory and produced $250 million in funded loans during his first year. Previously Cowan served as correspondent account manger for Central National Bank; he began his mortgage career with North American Savings Bank as a mortgage banker.

Cowan will begin his career at Gateway with an initial focus on Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa for the Correspondent Division.
