Katie Kossman

Katie Kossman holds a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University and an M.S. in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Katie began her career at GMFS in Baton Rouge, gaining hands-on experience in mortgage accounting. After advancing through EY’s Financial Services Division as an auditor, she transitioned to banking leadership as Controller for Texas Heritage Bank, where she implemented key standards and drove process efficiencies.

Today, at Gateway First Bank, Katie leverages her mortgage and banking expertise to strengthen accounting processes and enhance internal controls.

Outside of work, Katie is a proud parent, avid equestrian, and National Park enthusiast—18 parks and counting!
