Peter Cramp joined Gateway in 2021 and was promoted to Chief Credit Officer in January 2026. He leads the bank's credit strategy, including underwriting standards, portfolio quality, and credit administration across all markets.
Prior to Gateway, Peter held credit analyst roles at Simmons Bank in Oklahoma. Earlier in his career, he worked at Charter Oak Financial Consultants in New York, providing financial advisory and valuation services in complex Chapter 11 restructurings.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Johns Hopkins University. He is a CFA charterholder and an active member of CFA Society Oklahoma.
Peter spent time in New York and Oklahoma City before settling in Tulsa with his wife and two young children. Outside of work, he enjoys perfecting New York-style pizza at home and exploring Tulsa's many family-friendly attractions.
