Gateway Mortgage Group Renews Partnership with Folds of Honor

JENKS, Okla., May 10, 2018 – Gateway Mortgage Group, founded by Kevin Stitt, announced today the renewal of its partnership with Folds of Honor, a non-profit organization that provides educational scholarships to dependents of fallen and disabled service men and women.

“Our country’s military families have made great sacrifices to protect the freedoms we enjoy today, and Gateway is honored to play a role in extending our nation’s gratitude,” said Kevin Stitt, founder and CEO of Gateway Mortgage Group. “Every time a new homeowner closes a loan at Gateway, our company makes a donation towards educational scholarships for family members of fallen or wounded service-members. Because of the hard work of Gateway employees, we expect to exceed our annual commitment to Folds of Honor, and we look forward to another year of growth and giving back to our military.”

In May of 2017, Gateway announced that it would donate $5 to Folds of Honor for every mortgage loan closed through its Mortgage Centers nationwide. Since that time, the company’s contributions are on pace to surpass the original 12-month forecast of a $100,000 donation.

Each month, a local Gateway Mortgage Center invites their customers, business partners and employees to an event that is co-hosted with Folds of Honor. During this event, a scholarship recipient will share their personal story of how Folds of Honor has helped them alleviate the pressures of their education expenses, and the Gateway Mortgage Center presents the monthly donation to a Folds of Honor representative.

“It is refreshing to see a successful company like Gateway who unapologetically leads by living the example of their passion to strengthen families,” said Major Dan Rooney, Founder of Folds of Honor. “We are excited they have decided to stand with Folds for another year as we fulfill our promise to educate the legacy of our fallen soldiers.”

Gateway Mortgage Group provides mortgage services to more than 100,000 customers each year with 20,000 of those being new customers. The company will continue its pledge to donate $5 for every closed mortgage loan for the next 12 months.

“Gateway is thriving and we take our obligation to give back to those in need seriously,” added Stitt. “As Memorial Day approaches, Gateway extends its genuine gratitude to those who have served our country courageously.”
