Hello! I'm Lauren Locklear at Gateway Mortgage.

As a lifelong Sumter native, I'm proud to serve the community I call home. For nearly 10 years, I've been part of the Gateway Mortgage team, where I enjoy helping families achieve the dream of homeownership as a Loan Partner.

When I'm not helping clients navigate the mortgage process, you'll find me giving back to the community through my church and volunteering in leadership roles with my children's school PTO. I also had the privilege of serving as President of the Sumter Junior Welfare League. Community involvement has always been an important part of who I am.

My husband, Chris, and I have two active children and two dogs who keep life fun and busy. In my free time, I enjoy playing mahjong, spending time at the lake, and making memories with family and friends. I look forward to helping you every step of the way on your homeownership journey.

After attending the University of South Carolina, I returned home and began my career in banking as a Branch Manager at a local bank. Nearly 10 years ago, I joined Gateway Mortgage, where I've had the opportunity to work alongside one of the area's top-producing loan officers as a Loan Officer Assistant and Loan Partner.

That experience has given me an in-depth understanding of the mortgage process from application to closing and has equipped me to provide exceptional service, clear communication, and proactive guidance every step of the way.
