Hello! I'm Melissa Basgall at Gateway Mortgage.

After attending the University of Kansas as an English and Political Science major, I got my first job in the mortgage industry with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. I take great pride in helping clients achieve the American Dream of homeownership and have been a mortgage professional for 25 years. I am experienced in many different loan programs and products- Conventional, FHA, VA, Rural Development, 1st Time Homebuyer Bond and Grant programs, New Construction, Jumbos, Home Equity. My goal is to make the transaction as pleasant as possible for all involved and believe communication throughout the process is key.

I am married with one daughter that just graduated from Ohio State University and is now pursuing her masters in nursing at Xavier University. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing golf with my husband, reading, shopping, traveling.
