Gateway Mortgage Group Celebrates Folds of Honor Donation

GLENDALE, Ariz. (March 26, 2019) – Gateway Mortgage Group, LLC, a full-service mortgage company licensed in 40 states and District of Columbia, presented a check to Folds of Honor for $5,165 today at Gateway Mortgage Glendale office. Rachael Chapman, a Folds of Honor regional development officer, and Cole Ricke, a higher education scholarship recipient, attended the ceremony and accepted the donation on behalf of the organization.

“The stories of Folds of Honor lie in the stories of the families we serve,” said Rachael Chapman. “By continuing to stand with Folds, Gateway is advancing our mission of paying a tribute to those stories through support and continued education. With their help and commitment to strengthening families, we are confident that we will be able to raise even more support for military families.”

Gateway is committed to donating $5 for every mortgage loan closed through its retail locations. They currently operate more than 160 retail offices across the country. The company’s annual loan volume exceeded $6 billion in 2018, and its loan servicing portfolio eclipsed $18 billion.

“Freedom isn’t free, and we are acutely aware of that at Gateway,” said Randy Martin, regional vice president of Gateway Mortgage Group. “We are proud to partner and serve with an organization that does so much for our country’s veterans and their families.”

In 2018, Gateway funded more than $6.1 billion in residential mortgage loans while its servicing portfolio surpassed 100,000 customers and $18 billion. The company attributes its success to the hard work of its team members. In fact, Gateway Mortgage Group has been recognized twenty-six times as an industry leader including receiving the prestigious Hall of Fame accolade in 2018 from Inc. Magazine as one of the country’s fastest-growing privately held companies for the eighth time.
